It has been six fabulous months since I upgraded and started travelling with RIMOWA. I have a Classic Flight 35 litre cabin class and so far it has been with me on reviews trips to Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and around Malaysia … and I love, love, love it! I chose my Classic Flight for many different reasons after struggling to choose between a Topas and a Classic Flight, which I mention in the video I shot shopping at the (then brand-spanking-new) Kuala Lumpur flagship RIMOWA store at Pavilion Mall. It’s the exact dilemma I’m asked most about by travellers looking for RIMOWA advice. So I’ve shot 2 new videos walking through the features of the cabin class Topas and Classic Flight, with a special 6-month check-in commentary added into the Classic Flight video with the pros and cons I’ve experienced so far.
Compare Topas vs Classic Flight
The videos I’ve shot are not a side-by-side comparison of the Topas and Classic Flight but if you watch them back-to-back you’ll see that I give a tour of both bags in basically the same order. It’s my hope that this will help you decide which RIMOWA is right for you.
