Halong Bay | 1st Time Trying Vietnamese Coffee

Halong Bay | 1st Time Trying Vietnamese Coffee

Vietnamese coffee is delicious.  And it is now a serious love of mine, I crave it all the time!  It’s flavourful, thick, sweet, and packs a strong kick unmatched by other country’s signature coffee!  Come with me as I try it for the first time.  This was on a transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay and luckily my sweet Blacklane driver acted as the translator for me with the owner.  I’m now on a mission in Kuala Lumpur to find the best Vietnamese coffee beans and a filter like this one so I can make it at home.

I could not reach the owner to share the exact location but it’s roughly here in this stretch of the motorway.  The cafe is on the right hand side, just across the street from a petrol station.  You’ll know it’s coming up in 10 – 15 minutes (if memory serves) after you pass a very touristy looking spot with lots of buses.
