Normally I find the most bouncy looking sunset cruise to hop aboard but on this trip to Koh Samui I found a private yacht I could rent and headed out to sea!  Samui Private Yacht offered up the best sunset cruise on Koh Samui that I could possibly imagine.  The boat was the perfect size for us, equipped with music, yummy European cheeses and a charcuterie platter, and bottles of ice cold Champagne.   The trip ended up being a bit longer than the 2 hours we booked it for, breathtaking, and so very serene, as you’ll see.  The captain is a local and knew the waters like the back of his hand and gave a fun tour of the main islands, coves, and sights of Koh Samui.

The boat we were on was the Clear Sky, a 40 foot Sunseeker yacht that cost 25,000 Baht all-inclusive.  Next time I want to rent it for the entire day (including sunset) to go snorkelling and swimming in a few exclusive coves as that is only 60k.
